MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Another one of Wisconsin’s Most Wanted is behind bars. Milwaukee police made the arrest of Maurice Johnson just days after FOX6 News shared his profile on-air and online.
Johnson was accused by investigators of torturing a young girl he knew. Prosecutors say Johnson would punish the eight-year-old girl if she acted out, beating her with a belt or having her hold books over her heard for discipline.
After criminal charges were filed, Johnson disappeared until this past Thursday — when MPD took him into custody.
