MILWAUKEE (WITI) — U.S. Marshals are looking for 26-year-old Sherrone Thornton and 29-year-old Devonte Williams.
Thornton and Williams are charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide — party to a crime. A criminal complaint says they beat a 17-year-old man at Annie’s Discount Liquor on Capitol Drive on August 13th.
U.S. Marshals say the victim came to the store to collect money for work he’d done for the owner. Instead of paying him, the store’s owner, Syed Rizvi, told Thornton and Williams to “handle him.”
A criminal complaint says Thornton and Williams dragged the victim to a rear storage area where they punched and kicked him. The complaint says Rizvi then shot the victim in the back of his head. U.S. Marshals say the victim has since undergone multiple surgeries and continues to suffer.
Rizvi was arrested and released on bail. Thornton and Williams are still on the run. U.S. Marshals believe they are somewhere in Milwaukee.
Thornton goes by the nicknames “Lunatic Blessing” and “Rone.” He is 5’7” and weighs 180 pounds. He has a tattoo on his left arm of “LB” and a tattoo on his right arm of “LA.” He’s a confirmed member of the Black Gangster Disciples.
Williams goes by the nickname “Von.” He is 6’2” and weighs 190 pounds. He has a tattoo on his upper left arm of ‘Von.”
